I’m not really sure
what such a compilation would look like, so instead I’ve decided to start a new project in the hopes of showcasing some of what I’m capable of. Mostly map-related stuff right now, but anything ugly and fundamentally useless will fit the bill. Enter: Glorpo.

I’m building it with Phoenix LiveView, since I’ve really enjoyed working with it on the last couple of projects. I’m also trying to build out a strategy for integrating maps (ie. with maplibregl-js) in a way where I can benefit from the realtime capabilities of the framework, without have to do everything in JS.

The first project I’ve built is this dumb map where every place has been, uh, renamed, as a subtle reference to current political happenings. It’s called Earth: 2027.
